How to remove a bleach stain from a dark blue shirt?

best stain removercleaning suppliesjanitorial suppliesremoving stains

I was using a cleaner with bleach and I had my new shirt on from Aeropostale and it was kinda expensive. The spots are a dark red/orange. I tried white vinegar and I want to know if there are any other ways then using a fabric pen or marker. I also don’t want to put something over it like a patch.
~Thanks
I don’t want to bleach it either.

Sorry I have to agree with previous answers— You Can Not remove bleach, & the bleach has removed the color from your shirt–

The only thing you can do is to "spot dye" the area that has been discolored from the bleach.

    Here’s how to do that:

    1. Find a color of LIQUID Rit Dye closest to your shirt color
    2. Mix about 2 Table spoons of the dye with 1 cup very hot water.
    3. put this mix into a small spray bottle
    4. Hang your shirt on a plastic hanger, and do this preferably outside or over top of old newspapers so as Not to dye or stain anything else.
    5. Gently shake the dye solution in the spray bottle, and spray over the discolored areas– make sure the shirt is DRY when you start, and spray enough to wet the fabric thru.

Allow the shirt to dry thoroughly then wash and dry as usual before wearing.

Bleach removes color. After that, you can’t put it back. But maybe could try contacting a bleach company. They’re the experts and have people who research issues like these. Also, you may want to see if Rit Dye, has something for your problem. I know for a fact that they have a color remover for whites.

Sorry–I’m pretty sure that shirt’s ruined.

Bleach doesn’t actually *stain*–it leaches the color from the fabric. Unlike, say, a ketchup stain, it’s not a matter of foreign pigmentation covering the dye in the shirt. The pigment in your shirt is actually *gone.* Erased.

Either color over the spot with something or patch it–and next time, don’t use bleach while wearing a good shirt, kay?
