how to remove chocolate stain from carpet?

Ok we have really old carpet and it needs to be removed but until then, how can i remove a chocolate stain that is set in? We have tried many over the counter products i am looking for a old home remedy so to speak
sorry it ended up in the wrong section…..not sure how that happened didnt catch it sooner lol

    I would start with baking soda and water. Then if that doest work, try vinegar and water, at last effort ( before you call in the professionals) rubbing alcohol. It cures almost anything.

    i have heard that using club soda and baking soda works pretty good. the good news is that if it doesn’t take out the stain, it won’t stain the carpet, and it makes quite the bubble show while you are doing it!!
