How to you get a bleach stain out of your white hat??

Ok, i have this white hat and my friend threw it into the bushes because she grabbed it off my head and i was trying to get it back. Now it was dirty! so i took bleach and a toothbrush and tried to srub it out, now it has a yellow stain! help!

    Is the color of the hat white or off white? This happened to me when I bleached my white sneakers…. I would rewash the hat on delicate cycle with a cap full of bleach. It worked for me set Ur hat in the sunny area to dry and the brown spotting will not happen…It worked for me good luck

    Try one of those stain remover pens..You know, the ones you carry in your pure. I just used a CVS brand one for a yellow stain on my white skirt that the drycleaners said they could’nt get out. The pen worked.

    If the hat is washable, you could use some liquid bluing added to the rinse cycle of your washer. Bleach yellows all whites over time, bluing neutralizes the yellowing and brings it back to bright white. It works on baby formula stains as well. It is truly amazing stuff. A bottle of it will last you years. Here is the website, which also has a lot of great tips, you will find it on the top shelf usually of most grocery stores laundry aisles. ETA: Very important, you only need a few drops of this stuff for an entire washload of yellowed whites…it is that powerful.
