I dropped candle wax on my linoleum flooring and now there is a red stain. Does anyone know how to remove it?

To remove candle wax from linoleum, first chip off as much of the surface wax as possible, using a dull knife. Then, place several layers of paper towel over remaining wax, and apply a warm iron to draw wax into the paper towels. Replace the paper towels if they become saturated.

I would apply some straight white vinegar for the red stain.:)

There’s a few cleaning substances in smaller spray containers at WalMart that get waxy stuff off. Crayons are made of wax, too. The only difference, is: that wax was hot. I would think your fingers could get the majority of it off. If it’s a stain now with no texture, then, try Comet with a rag or scratchy sponge.

I would try rubbing alcohol. Even nail polish remover. Put some on a q-tip first and see if it works.
