Lamb leather is very soft, almost like suede but lighter.

Send the coat to professionals, you may make the the stain worst.

Take it to a cleaning service that specializes in leather. They can usually get stuff out.

I would suggest taking it to a professional who knows how to clean leather. In northern Virginia we have a mom and pop company called Bedo's. They are great. They stitched up my mom's leather coat that had a tare in it. It looks amazing. I'm sure you could look up a leather place in the yellow pages. Hope that helps and I hope you can get your jacket fixed.

And good dry cleaner that has experience with leather can help you out. When looking for one, they should have a suggestion how to do it immediately over the phone. If someone semi-skilled answers and says, "Just bring it here.", move on and find someone else.
