i have "yellow" stained toe nails from from using dark nail polish,?

what can i use to lighten the stains? i know buffing the nail works some but i don’t want to thin out my nails

    Well, to prevent that from happening, apply a base coat of nail polish first. Otherwise known as clear nail polish. Then apply the dark color on your nails. The clear nail polish forms a barrier between your nail and the nail polish color. But to get rid of it, just don’t use anything on it. Give it some time, it’ll go away naturally. Good Luck! :-*

    Time… thay have to grow out. It is a stain and permanant.

    just lightly buff the sides and then apply clear nail polish once every two day. my mom is a professional at L.A nals and corprated.

    My mother had too put her hands in some bleach because her nails did that.Try it.It might work.

    BLACK!?!?!?!? Cover it with a cooler color. Black is so not stylish. Or find a doctor.

    my sister had the same problem. Its not from the color of your nail polish its from the the actual nail polish. It usually occurs from wearing polish on your nails a lot. The best thing you can do is NOT put any more nail polish on them for a few weeks. Let them grow out and have some room to breathe without being suffocated in polish.
