I just bought a dress last night, I noticed it had an ink stain. Is it possible to get it dry cleaned?

The dress is white and the ink is noticeable.
The dress is dry cleanable

If you bring it to a dry cleaners and tell them where the stain is than most of the time the cleaners will give attention to that spot.

But you might want to check and see if the dress is dry cleanable, alot of times there not.

    good luck!(:

I’m not sure about dry cleaning, but this Saturday my friend got married and noticed an ink stain on her wedding gown. wiping it with a baby wipe took it right off!

Return it if the baby wipes suggestion doesn’t work. The problem likely comes from the anti-shoplifting tag. These sometimes leak, and the dye they contain is harder to get off than regular ink.

I would first go to the store and take the dress and receipt and ask for a different dress or a discount that would pay for the dry cleaning bill. Then I would go home and try a Huggies diaper wipe first, then talk to a dry cleaner before actually having it cleaned. That sucks, though. The same thing happened to me and I just had to have it dry cleaned.

Probably – most professional dry cleaners have chemicals that can remove anything.

Everything can be dry cleaned… some things can be washed, and some can’t, but a dry cleaner can handle any garment.

dont bother take it back to where you got it and demand a new one or a discount

most dry cleaning placesw are pretty good about removing stains since they have solvents not available to the rest of us. So yes get it dry cleane dand point out the stain ahead of time so they don’t miss it. However if your tags are still attached take the dress back and exchange it.

about taking the dress back and have it exchanged!

I was in the Navy and use to get ink stains on my whites. Try hairspray or whole milk. Hopefully you or yout garment was not in the sun a lot. This really works.
