There is NOTHING you can do to "get it up". The nail polish remover has soaked into the floor and damaged it. Call a flooring place that sells cork floors and tell them what happened. They maybe able to recommend something to refinish the floor. BUT, probably this section will have to be replaced! The only thing I can think of is that you try to sand the floor (by hand) with a very light grade of sandpaper and get a cover stick (this is a waxy stick that comes in various shades of wood) Try Canadian Tire…Then rub this over the surface..let sit and do as many times as necessary, or try some of the "old fashioned" shoe polish in a tin (can buy at a good shoe store) Rub in and buff, and repeat as many times as necessary..I feel for you, a new floor ruined..good lesson, keep that kind of stuff off wood floors..pretty expensive lesson

You will probably have to have that section of the floor replaced, check with the company that you bought the flooring from they should be able to help.
