I have a big wax stain on my tee shirt and I want to remove the wax. I did already throw it in the washer and dryer and the wax is still on there. Please tell me how to remove the wax.

you will need a iron and 3 paper bags put 1 bag on the ironing board 1 bag in side the shirt and 1bag on top run the iron on the paper bag [make sure it is on] then run it back and forth it should come up or you could try steaming it out

  2. dirtdabber says:

Get a cheese cloth and put over the waxed shirt– warm the iron to a low to medium setting and go over the wax spot until the cloth absorbs the wax. You may have to use a hotter setting to melt the wax under the cheese cloth–The hot iron will absorb the melted wax into the cloth as you iron over it. This also works for wax spilled on carpet. If you can’t get cheese cloth try just an old cotton cloth that you don’t want anymore.Good luck to you.

You need an iron–put something protective between the iron the wax and between the material and the wax. Iron the wax out of the shirt.

I put it anything like that in the freezer and if it is not too bad it will just pop off

Well, boil some water to get it extremely hot, soak the wax spot in it if or you can even place the area over a bowl and pour the hot water through the wax area that would help too.
Once the water has soaked through the area a while take the material and lay it out flat enough that you can take a brush and brush the area to remove any waxy resisue.
Try this procedure and possibly repeat as you see the amount of wax diminishing as you work the area if indeed you have any wax left after the first application. Hope this works for you, it Should. Have a great day, Peace out.

    Iron board
    Iron
    Brown paper bag

Shirt on board, Iron on high, brown paper bag ontop of wax, then put over with a wash cloth or kitchen towel. Iron ontop of that and the wax will melt and stick to the paper bag…peel off bag to remove the wax.
