    The tomato puree in the ketchup will cause a stain. The grapes in the wine will cause a stain.

    The vinegar in the ketchup sets the red stain. The alcohol in the wine may be what sets the red stain of wine. I’m not sure. But, it will come out with some slobber easily. So, slobber on your clothes when an accident like that happens.

    Ketchup and wine both are classified as Tannin stains.
