I have a blue leather couch, and would like it to be a black leather couch w/o replacing it of coarse.

Leather is either aniline dyed or pigment coated. If your leather is dyed leather then you can use either dyes ir pigments to recolour it. If you have a pigment coated leather you cannot use dyes as they will not be absorbed by the leather . In this case you would need to use pigments to change the colour.

In either case it is not a job to do yourself. Although there are many DIY products on the internet the process is a fairly complex one and DIY products are not up to the job.

This is far better left ot speicalist leather techniicans who can do a good lasting job using professional products which will give good results. If you use DIY products they are likely to peel or crack after a very short time and then the furniture may be beyond help and will be ruined.

Nope. Leather is tanned with the color in it, so there is no way to change it.

My family manufacture leather. You can’t stain different color but you can spray resin mix with pigment for different color.
