Pizza got dropped on one of my favorite pairs of jeans, and they’ve been washed and dried, and the stain is obviously still there. Is there a way to get it out?

I use Dawn dish soap to remove grease stains. On clothing that hasn’t already been through the dryer, I apply it 20 minutes before laundering. If it has been through the dryer, I make a paste of Dawn and baking soda. Apply it to the stain and let it sit for a few hours before laundering.

If you have any friends in Quixtar, we sell two tremendous spot-removers. The liquid one will get it out.

I’ve had the same thing happen to me with other grease from food. Different things have worked on different fabrics. One of them that I have found that works wonders is Dawn dish soap. let it soak for a day or so on the spot and sometimes it will wash out.

Another solution that has worked on a shirt was baking soda and water. Mix it into a paste and let it soak on the spot. Rinse it off before washing.

A friend of mine swears by the tide to go sticks. Never tried them. but she has like one stashed wherever we are at. Like she does a magic trick and whips one of those out whenever. lol!

    GoJo hand cleaner
it is used to remove automotive grease from clothes and hands and it works good.
just rub the hand cleaner onto the affected area and wash normally
you can get it at any automotive parts store
    autozone
    for example

This old trick has been tested and it worked. It depends how big the stain; pour/spread baking soda across the stained area, cover completely. then pour vinegar using a measuring cup, when it starts to bubbles or sizzles, scrub the area with an old tooth brush. Do not use wire brush as it will damage the material. let it soak for about ten minutes and rinse. You may have to do it twice, wash with cold water.

Try treating it with dawn dishwashing detergent.
The hard part is when a stain has been dried in the dryer… A lot of times that is the kiss of death.
But it is worth a try.
    Good luck

The person that suggested the automotive hand cleaner is correct ! May I suggest buying the one from Walmart … DL Permatex Hand Cleaner ( white can blue label ) in the auto section only $1.00!

I had pair of Capri pants that I loved and got garlic and oil pasta on them. I washed and dried them like 5 times with no luck..My brother gave me the above hand cleaner it worked !!!! Capris were saved !

Smear the stain with the cleaner and allow it to sit over night. Wash and dry and that’s it stain will be gone !

    Good Luck !

soak the spot with isopropyl alcohol, it’s good at removing grease or oil.
