I’m trying to find the same thing, LOL.
Here is what I found online. I might try a few of these ideas…

    1. Henna:
Ancient Egyptians (especially royals, like Cleopatra,) used Henna to dye/stain their nails "red".
Some people still do this, but the color isn`t red. It is a rusty orange. Although apparently Henna is good for nails, and prevents treats yucky nail fungus.
BUT, I was turned off of this method. After reading blogs, people who henna-d their nails were saying, they were told their hands looked dead and rotting. One girl was even dubbed Plague hand. :S Maybe if you applied it over and over and over, you could get a darker color…

**I dont know if I am going to try this one. The only way it comes off is to grow it out, and it could take months. Plus, I don`t like orange.**

    2. Apple Cider Vinegar + Food Coloring:
The same recipe for dying easter eggs, is thought to work for nail staining.
The only thing is although food coloring is FDA approved – it isn`t chemical free.

    3. Kool-Aid:
Mix with some boiling hot water, (to make it a paste consistency.) Don`t add sugar.
At least their would be some cool color options…

I`ll probably try the cool aid method on my toes, and see what happens…
