Is there anyway to dye/stain leather sofas?

I have two reddish dark brown leather sofas and want to stain/dye them black. Is that possible? If not, any suggestions on how to make them fit into my mostly black decorated home?

    you could paint them. but they would be VERY uncomfortable.
    i dont think there is any way its possible sorry. but i'm sure you can get a cover for your couch. or even a thin blanket to put it over it so you can't really see the brown.

    Go to a craft store and get some leather dye. Easy to use probably take quite a bit to do an entire sofa.
