Ladies, how do you prevent red wine stained lips at a nice restaurant or wine tasting?

I always end up with weird looking stained lips when I drink red wine. Does anyone have any good tips to prevent this?

    Put a layer of vaseline over your lipstick

    I don’t drink red wine but I might try putting a thick lip gloss on before drinking. And periodically going to the restroom and rinse your mouth out with water. Maybe that would help!
