laundry stains??

I washed a pair of kakhi pants and they came out of the washer with green stains. I had all light colors in the load so I don’t know how this happened. If a dark color was in there and it ran how would I get the stain out?

Maybe you had an ink pen or a piece of candy in one of your pockets…It has happened to me before. If it ever happens again you need to spot treat the stains while the garment is still wet (before you throw it in the dryer) using Spray’n'Wash or something similar, and wash it again. As for the set in stain that you have now, it will be almost impossible to remove. Try the same thing though…what’s the worst that could happen? Spot treat it and rewash it. Good Luck

Wash in one cup of White Vinegar without any detergent added to the wash water no added fabric softner and wash in the hottest water the pants can handle, set on full cycle, when done you can put in dryer but must be set on low or delicate cycle or line dry away from direct sunlight as vinegar whitens Now as to the cause of your green stains this is a mystery Good Luck !
