I am remodeling my 4 ft tall chinchilla cage and I want to repaint it and I also need to stain or use a sealant on the wood shelves and I know that my chinchillas will chew on the wood and possibly the metal part of the cage. I want to make sure that whatever I use is not going to hurt or make them ill from chewing on it, so what type is pet friendly for them? Any ideas will help, thanks so much!
