My 4-month old grandson’s loose stools stains his clothes. What’s best for laundry pre-treatment?

Yes, he wears diapers, but he does have the occasional explosion and the diapers sometimes leak. And he is breast fed. A cute kid, but I hate to see his little outfits with a big brown stain on the back. Thanks for any help.

Stool Stain Removal from Clothing or Diapers
To get the baby stool stains out of your clothing, try using an enzyme pre-soak or liquid, such as Biz or Axion. The enzymes digest the stain in the same way your body digests food. Soak the stain, then wash as usual.=)

Ahhhh, caring for a leaky baby!

I always pretreat it with Zout or Shout for several hours and then rinse it out, and then I soak it overnight in Biz and water. It’s a color safe bleach that gets almost anything out. Just use warm, not hot, water, and make sure the stain is out before you dry it in the dryer.
