My nail polish left an ugly orangey yellow stain on my nails after I removed the polish?

I don’t know what to do. Is it gonna stay like that permanently??? What should I do to get it off?

    it just residue I had it with my nail varnish (i was 7 it was little kiddies princess watery nail polish) it came off after my mom put more nail varnish remover (that really works)

    its just residue. itll wear off eventually but you may try rubbing alcohol

    I’ve had this happen to me as well. It usually means that you left the nail polish on for too long and now that you’ve removed it your nails can finally get air back into them. Eventually it goes away, but if it doesn’t then I would recommend getting it checked out just in case it’s something more.

    Yeah, what misseliz said. It’ll wear off eventually, but next time when you paint your nails use an undercoat.

    I get this discoloring under my nails too, and it is because I wear nail polish too much so the nails can’t get as much oxygen. To try to get it to go away, leave your nail polish off for a while, it may look disgusting, so if you don’t mind having it just keep covering up with nail polish so it is not visible. It’s not harmful so it’s okay.

    What I would do is paint over it in a completely different color. Sich as, if you had them red before it left the stain, paint them blue. Then I would immediantly remove it. Then it should remove the stain to. If it doesn’t, then just try removing it a few times. It should eventually fade away. Relax, I’m sure it’s not permenant. I just dont’t suggest painting your nails with that nail polish again.

    It’s not permanent but it might stay there for a while until it begins to fade off. To prevent this in the future, you should probably go with using a good basecoat before putting on the actual color. That way, there’s protection between the nail and the nail polish.
