my nail polish stained my nails?

I had dark red nail polish on this week and i just removed it. I scrubbed really hard, but it’s staining my nails. I don’t want to polish my nails with dark red again. What can I do to get the stain off?

try rubbing lemon juice on your nails OR a mix of toothpaste and baking soda.

Unfortunately many dark color polishes tend to stain nails especially if you do not use s high quality base coat. I have stained nail before and I try the above suggestions then put a good base coat and semi light color on my nails and usually when I remove that color after about a week my nails are back to normal.

If you like red just be sure to prep your nails with a base coat, you do not have to give up on these shades.

Scrubbing will do nothing to remove the stain expect perhaps damage your nails.

The more polish you put on the harder it is to take off.
NEVER put 100% Acetone on your nails! its made to disintegrate the acrylic of false nails! Its the most drying harshest nail product on the market!
You shouldn’t even use regular acetone nail polish remover.
    How old is your remover?
The older it gets the less it works. Some of the more cheaper removers stop working after only a few months
Try getting a new, small (so its not sitting around for ever) bottle of acetone-free nail polish remover and use it.
If you need to pour a little into a bowl and let your fingers soak for about 5 minutes.
If you soak them make sure to put a cuticle cream or lotion on your cuticles, a soak in any water based liquid will dry them out a little and the lotion will help to counter that.

If you did all that and it’s still showing, you’re just gonna have to wear it off naturally. Next time use a base coat before you use any type of color.
