Our contractors are using T1-11 for our garage how long can we go without paint or stain before its to late?

It is the rainy season and I am afraid without some sort of treatment it will warp my wood

    not long mold and rot is bigger problem

    Since the product is a compressed, scrap wood material, it has a built in moisture retardant that will hold it’s shape for a short time, but I wouldn’t wait more than a few weeks before treatment, and then make sure it has a few days to dry.
    Better to wait than paint while wet and trap the moisture.
