Pet stain removal??

We are moving out military housing in a couple months and just found out that when they do the black light on the carpets and there are any pet stains then they will charge us top dollar to replace all the carpet in the house. Our dog has had a few accidents in the house and I can’t afford to replace all the carpet.
Does anyone know of any cleaning solution that will take out the whole stain? I need something that will remove it so that is doesn’t show up under a black light.

    most pet stores sell products with beneficial bacteria or enzymes that will actually eat the organic material, I would try that then do a blacklight test for yourself.

    i definatly reccomend a product called Urine Gone. I use this when my cats and dogs make a "mess". It takes away the stain AND the scent. It should be in the cleaning aisle or if you have an As seen on TV area. It works wonders and i swear by it! good luck

    My husband used to work for Oreck Vacumms and I swear by their carpet cleaning products. They have one called "no return". You jsut spray it on and let it sit for a few minutes, you can literally see the stain surfacing and then wipe it up with a cloth. I can’t tell you how many people use ONLY that for pet stains. They also have a dry carpet cleaning system that you can rent for the day. No water needed just a powder and rentable machine. I recommond trying it, not very expensive and works great.

    WHITE VINEGAR,, ( i suggest you get a black light) and then rearrange your furniture accordingly :)

    Well, it isn’t as easy as you might want because when an animal pees on the carpet, it soaks all the way through the carpet into the pad, and often into the cement slab under that.
    When the pee dries, it forms crystals…and that is the problem, cause it takes a lot of liquid to turn those crystal back into a liquid and get them out of the carpet, pad and off the floor. Before you start anything, I will warn you that if you overwet your carpet or keep it wet for too long, you can acutally brown it out in those areas (depending on the color of the carpet). With that said, I would suggest you get/borrown/buy a shop vac…and I would use plain luke warm tap water and saturate the pee areas, working the fibers in a soft/gental circular and inword motion…then suck, it out, continue this several times, sucking it out each time, really well… You have to do this several times, to get those crystals to "go away" … It is sort of like trying to disolve sugar in water…but you dont have it that easy since your "crystals" are in the carpet… After you have done this the several times, let your carpet dry and get it dry as quickly as you can, use a fan, a dehumidifier or both…
    Check with your own black light after that areas have been very dry for a few days…if you still see it, then start all the way over…remember not to get your carpet to wet for to long especially if your carpets are white, cream, beige, camel, or light blue…
