Pet Urine Stain and ODOR!?

best stain removercleaning suppliesjanitorial suppliesremoving stains

Okay, I’ve tried Natures Miracle, Baking Soda and Hydrogen Peroxide, AND Vinigar in a Steam Cleaner Machine. I need to know, if anyone has any other AWSOME ways that REALLY work to get Urine stain and/or odor OUT of my carpet? I need a miracle! Please help, let me know all your remedies! Thanks!
I use Natures Miracle to spot clean…soak the spot, then dab it up later. I use the Baking Soda and Vinigar to CLEAN the carpet…like the whole carpet…for large areas. So I don’t think I’m switching around too much.

sounds like you tried too hard. Just use carpet cleaner……it works for my pet’s pee!

Simple Soultion works well too – however, if the urine soaked in, it may be in the wood or sub floor by now. you may want to try leaving the Natures Miracle or Simple Solution on the stain for a while, let it soak in too, let it dry and then reapply and steam clean it again.

    Good luck

Natures Miracle worked for me, but I had to apply it several times, and then I steam cleaned it. Vinegar doesn’t do anything except make the carpet smell like vinegar. Don’t keep changing products, you may make it worse. Just keep using the Nature’s miracle.

The problem is that once a dog has gone on the carpet, it goes back to the same spot, so it gets more & more saturated. What’s under the carpet? If it’s wood or chipboard or something similar, it’s probably soaked into that, and you’ll have to lift the carpet & treat what’s under it.

    Sorry, but good luck.

You may have used too many products, some can cancel eachother out if you’re not careful. I would get the Nature’s Miracle and let it soak into the stain. Thats the best product i’ve found, it got cat pee out of my mattress and has cleaned my floors for a long time

Enzymatic cleaners like Nature’s Miracle won’t work if there are chemical cleaners on the carpet, so you’ll need to flush with lots and lots of cold water. Never use hot water, because that will set the stain. Use a carpet cleaning machine and make sure that you absolutely pull ALL the water back out of the carpet.

I just found a really cool product that actually works better than anything else I’ve found on odors. It’s called Zero Odor. I don’t have a financial investment in the product, other than the fact that I just ordered some more!

IME, Resolve turns the carpet orange and hydrogen peroxide will bleach it.

Try the Zero Odor. I had a sick cat urinating outside the box, and there is NOTHING worse than that smell (maybe skunk!). The Zero Odor works great, but you do have to thoroughly coat the surface. Doesn’t leave any residue or odor of it’s own. They do guarantee their product and I got it as a sample from a veterinarian.
