Please tell me how I could remove a rust stain from my towel?

I washed my towel and hanged it and yesterday vevening when i went to unhung it there was a rust stain. When does a rust stain become tough or how can i remove it ASAP

    In the US there's a rust remover that you can buy in a copper colored bottle that I've used with good results on fabric. There's another product called SoilLove (or something like that) that I've used for other types of stains. I once had some year old rust stains on a favorite white cotton blouse – I had tried everything else on it. Finally, I squirted both on the blouse at the same time figuring it was ruined anyway, the combination made smoke (which I avoided breathing, I was outside) and the stain dissiapeared before my eyes.

    use salt and lime juice on the stain and rub it,don't use bleach it will just make the rust stain permanent.

    steam the stain over hot water, and squeeze a lemon's juice on to it while it is steaming. it should disappear before your eyes.

    Buy a new towel. Is the best choice.
