Port Wine Stain Laser Surgery?

I have a port wine stain on all of my right arm. I HATE IT! and ive read about what can happen to it and i just want to cry adnd crawl in a hole. But anyway, i was thinking of laser surgery.
Does it hurt? Can you tell if its been done? How long will it take? How do they do the surgery? thanks

    I recommend you find a more authoritative source for your information. However, I knew someone who had this done (as an infant). It took several treatments and required bandaging for a few days after each. The pain is not particularly bad. And, at this point, you could not tell he ever had a mark there. However, it was done at a much younger age, and I do not know how that will affect the results. I do think it is a good idea and I would go talk to a doctor if you are serious about this.
