im 12 and have a port wine stain covering most of my face on the left side plz be truthful what is a portwine stain and does it cause a disease and how do i cover it up

    You need to ask your doctor to refer you to someone that can help you specifically. You don’t say where your portwine stain is, but often its on the face, and can be a problem particularly when you are 12, and just starting to grow up, and your looks are so important to you, it is really hard to fit in as it is, and I really empathise with you.

    I had a friend who had one on her face, and she used to use a lot of make up, however that was a long time ago and I don’t see her now, we lost touch, but there may be better ways available to you that your doctor can talk to you about.

    I understand your worries about this, however I do not think that there is any reason to be worried about your health, but your doctor should discuss these concerns with you, please ask him or her.

    There are laser treatments and others that seem to be pretty successful. Again, speak to the doc.
