printer ink stain on light grey carpet?

printer was on rug and ink leaked out onto light grey rug. I have tried the alcohol blotting method but stain is still there. any suggestions?

    There are special stain removal products just for ink jet cartridges that have broken or leaked onto your carpet. You can purchase them at a janitorial store or all professional carpet cleaning companies carry them in their van. You can find a service here:

    mean green cleaner & degreaser…u can get it from the dollar store…

    if u don’t wanna try that then we also use
    oxy clean

    Did you try water? I have noticed that the print on printed items will run if water is spilt on them, does this mean the ink is water soluble? Try it on a small spot first. It cant harm it just make it wet.
