red stain on carpet how do i get it out?

I had a party last night and this morning my carpet had HUGE red stains everywhere on my white carpet from jungle juice/cool-aid. I rented a steam cleaner but the red stains are not coming out. anyone have suggestions?

    Places like Ace Hardware have some K2R that takes stain out of carpet.

    You should try putting bleach on it with water and scrub.
    I did that with a big orange smoothie stain on my carpet

    1First you will need to find a carpet cleaners supply store in your area to purchase Red dye stain remover. Ebay is also a great place to find discounted dye stain removers or red dye removers. (Use google to find the closest carpet cleaning supply shop).

    Step 2(Optional) go to your local grocery store and rent a carpet cleaning machine.

    Step 3If you do not have an iron, white terry cloth, or spray bottle you may need to purchase these items as well.

    Step 4Once you have the necessary items you are ready to begin. Start by taking your terry cloth and soak it completely with cold water. Plug your iron into a socket closest to the stain and put it on the highest setting. You do not need to add water to it, but it wont hurt if you do.

    Step 5After your iron reaches the maximum temperature, spray the red stain with the Dye stain remover.

    Step 6Fold the terry cloth over once then lay it flat on the stain.

    Step 7Lay the iron on the cloth and stain in the area where the dye stain remover was sprayed.

    Step 8Let the iron sit for 15 seconds, and no longer than 30 seconds.

    Step 9Once the iron has sat for the specified time, pick up the iron and lift the rag to check the stain. If it is gone you are done. If the stain is lighter you may need to repeat the above steps to completely remove the stain.

    Step 10(Optional) Once you have removed the stain, use the carpet cleaning machine to clean the area and extract all of the excess dye stain remover, or clean your entire house/apartment.

    Use Dep carpet spot remover. You can find it at Home Depot..it works miracles !!
