Removing ballpoint pen ink stain?

I have a coat that I need to remove ballpoint pen ink from. It’s a beige material that’s mainly polyester but also has nylon in it. Any ideas? I’d love to be able to do this without ruining it!

    Amodex Spot remover.
Check them out on line to figure out where to buy it.

i know there’s a product that makes ink come out. I forget the name of it though!! They make little yellow bottles of it; and there are different types for ink, grass stains, blood, etc etc.
My wife got it one time when she ran a pen through the laundry on accident and it worked fantastic. I’ll try to come up with the name of it….

I have heard of using hairspray for ink stains on any fabric. Maybe try a small area before doing the whole spot…good luck:)

I have used milk to remove ballpoint ink stains before. I just soaked the affected area in milk, you’ll see right away the ink will start coming out. You may have do it a couple of times with fresh milk. I think something in the milk binds to the ink.

Alcohol is the best thing for it. Soak the stain in it and then let it sit for about 30 minutes and wash as usual. May have to do that a few times but it works. Dont dry it in between washes if it doesn’t work the first time.

HAIRSPRAY! Lots of it. Spray on both sides and use and old toothbrush to scrub gently then dab with paper towel. Repeat as necessary. Then rinse with water. Repeat process if necessary. I’ve used it several times and it works!
