If you are pouring detergent or softener directly onto your clothes this could be why. Always let the machine fill and agitate before adding soap. When rinsing allow the machine to get full then and your softener. Good luck! :)

dirt or grease from a previous wash was not totally gone and has collected on your clothing.

if your using liquid fab softner.. make sure you add it only at the rinse stage. or this could leave like oily looking stains on clothes.

sometimes if you have different colours together, some colours may stain your other clothes.

Clean the interior of the washer and drier. Before you put clothing in the dryer check the garments for stains. Use Stanley DEGREASER on the spots and rinse well BEFORE putting them in the dryer as the heat sets stains.

do you use liquid fabric softner?? this could be the problem, or the washer could be dirty from the previous load.
