How can I get red wine stains out of a velvet sofa? I tried putting warm water on it but it didn’t really come out.

I’m asking here cause there are actually people on this section at this time and I really, really, really need to get the stain out pronto…….

6ofus, I’m not a troll, actually. Trolls ask insincere questions just to get a rise out of people and waste their time. This is a sincere question, and I did ask it in the cleaning section. No one is there. I’m just wanting to know how to get a red wine stain out of a sofa. If you didn’t want to help then….. you didn’t need to write an answer. Simple solution, no?

Buying a new sofa isn’t an option.
