im doing a free choice science assignment on the most effective remover of red wine stains.. i need some explaination of what keeps a stain locked into th fabric so i can then explain why some work better than others. Does anybody have any good websites that I might be able to use?

    I will try and answer your Q. Red wine stains are removed by adding white wine to the stain, Blot with kitchen roll then rinse, Stains are locked into fabric by heat , so the more heat you add to the stain the harder it is to remove. That´s why if you wash your clothes in cold water , you remove more stains, your clothes last longer , and they stay softer. Of course depending on the water where you live. My water comes from a mountain source, so it´s great for washing & drinking , Hope this helps a little
