    Carpet – Use nail polish remover to blot the nail polish out. Using too much will eat through the backing. Wash the spot with a mild detergent and warm water after that.

    Paint thinner and or nail polish remover…on time my daughters friend spilled allot of nail polish on her rug and we got it out with nailpolish remover and laquer thinner it smells nasty so open windows, then we washed the residue off with soap and water.
