I live in a rented apartment.
Please help me! Is URGENT.

Have beige carpet with 3 old black ink stains. An old printer leaked and it’s not good. HELP!!!!! I need my deposit back from my apartment.

I two little chihuahuas that I love dearly. I notice my apartment started to smell like dog pee but could not figure out where they peed. I moved my couch today to realize that they have been back there peeing. These are very old stains on beige/tan carpet. I have removed them some with laundry soap and water and shop vacuumed up the water which got the dark yellow out but you can still see it. Is there anything I can so I don’t have to replace my carpet?

I left my clothes in my apartments laundry room when I ran back to my apartment to get some more fabric softener sheets and while I was gone someone pooped (seriously) in my basket of clothes. They are all stained and smell really bad. What should I do?

This is possibly the worst moment of my life.

Hi, today I emptied out half a bottle of "ultra concentrated, bleach alternative" liquid laundry detergent onto my apartment carpet. The carpet is light gray and the detergent is dark blue and now there is a pretty big blue stain. Any ideas short of getting the whole thing shampooed or steam cleaned? If I start scrubbing away with water will that make it better or worse? Thanks.

We just took down our Christmas tree and realized that our newly adopted dog had been sneaking behind the presents to do her business. The pee stains are at maximum three weeks old. We’ve tried everything; Nature’s Miracle, part water part vinegar, all commercial cleaning products, hydrogen peroxide. We rent an apartment and don’t want to pay to replace the carpets when we leave. Help!

I had a towel under my cat’s litter box, and somehow some urine seeped through on the hardwood floor below it. I don’t know how it happened, but it did. Anyway, there is a dark brown stain on the hardwood floor now. It doesn’t smell, and I put some vinegar on it a while ago but that didn’t really do anything. I really need to get rid of this stain ASAP because I am moving out of my apartment pretty soon. Are there any products that will remove this stain? And if so, where can I get them from? Please help, I really need to get this stain gone in a few days!!!!!

p.s. it is an old stain, a couple months old

On my table (its wooden), there are pen marks stains that I can’t seem to get out. Does anyone have any idea as to how to do that?

Also, in my apartment, there is a mysterious red-pink stain that I think could be hair dye. Any ideas for that? It’s just linoleum tiles…any suggestions would be great!

Thanks.

I hate wood. I’ll admit it right now. I don’t care about seeing the wood grain through the stain. I also love unity, and want to have most of the pieces in our apartment to have a general flow.

So my question is, is it okay to paint wood and fake veneer pieces with a rich chocolate paint, or is it better to stain and hopefully come out with a consistent color?

are there any household products i can use to get rid of old dog urine stains? That includes the smell, my dog also had diarrhea and stained the carpet pretty bad… I have a carpet cleaner but the cleaners don’t work that good.
i live in an apartment and i don’t want to buy new carpet

Since he got neutered he started having accidents inside. It’s an apartment and I really need these stains gone! Nothing I’ve tried so far has been working. Someone mentioned Urine-Gone but I don’t want to waste my money if it’s not effective.

I have heard great things about the Spot Bot cleaning machine. My only worry is that most of my stains are urine stains from my Chihuahua and sometimes I don’t find them in the house until they are up to a week old. (He is very sneaky) These stains are impossible to get out and I don’t want to have to pay for new carpet when we move out of our apartment. Has the Spot bot worked on any old stains for anyone else??

I moved into this apartment and the toilet area has these yellow stains on it. i assume they are urine. i tried ammonia, pine sol, sno blo toilet cleaner, ajax. i give up. what can i use to strip it?
Yes, I have tried vinegar. Ammonia too.

I have a bleach stain on my beige carpet. Now, the carpet where the stain is looks pink. I rent an apartment and before having to hire some type of carpet cleaning service, I was wondering if I could something to remove the stain. Any suggestions?

I currently live in an apartment and have looked at my carpet under a blacklight. There are several urine stains from potty training my puppy. How can I effectively remove the stains so that they no longer show up under a blacklight. I appreciate any suggestions! Thanks!

I live in an older 3 family building that still has what I assume to be the original wooden floors. The floors were a tad banged up when we moved in 8 years ago, but it’s definitely showing some major wear. I don’t own this apartment and if i ask the landlord to refinish the floors I’m worried he will raise the rent so I am trying to figure out how to do it myself.

I am aware of the process of sanding, which we have been doing in small pieces by hand to remove the stain (which was caused by a leaky bottle of laundry detergent that seeped out into a huge splotch on the floor while I was away on vacation, and when I returned and found the stain it was already mostly dry and awful looking). I am trying to avoid having to refinish the entire floor if I can just do a few boards where the stain is affecting the appearance.

Please keep in mind that I’m on a budget (if money wasn’t an issue i’d just tell the landlord to try and fix it and deal with the rent-raise and/or loss of security deposit), although I’m pretty handy with tools so I’m not afraid of getting my hands on a belt sander or whatnot… I am also curious about options involving bleach/peroxide which might lighten the stained areas of the wood if we can’t sand it out completely…

All we have is a small porch at our apartment and so the dog has to pee on the porch, now there is urine stains on it. How do you get rid of the stains and is there any type of thing i can put out there that the dog wont tear up that he can constantly pee on so he doesnt ruin the porch?

My neice visited us a few months ago and she moved the rug to play and…well long story short we found a red cool-aid(sp?) stain on the carpet hidden under the rug.It is about 3 months old and is fairly big, about 12 inches across. We live in an apartment with tan carpet. Do I have any hope of getting it out now or is it to late? Any suggestions?
