I had a teeny tiny stain on a white dress of mine, so I dipped a Q-tip in bleach and rubbed it off. Now, there is a noticeable yellow spot left by the bleach. How can I get it out and prevent this from happening again? Thanks!

I accidentally got bleach on a pair of my Chino pants, the stain is kind of pinkish- what should I do? I don’t want to throw them away because they are relatively new!
Can I buy some RIT dye and just dye them another color? or will that make them look funky?

Some bleach got onto my sheep skin rug, and now there’s an orange stain, is there a way to get it out?

I wanted to get some stain out of white clothes, so I soaked them in bleach, but now they turned into a shade of pale pink. Since all the clothes were white I don’t understand why there is the pink stain, and I wonder if there’s any way to get rid of it?

I was cleaning my kitchen countertop with a product containing bleach, and the product stain the formica in a yellow tone.

I tried to clean a fruit juice stain on a white ceshmere with bleach but the bleach made a yellowish stain instead of cleaning it .

There was a little nick in my bed frame, so I did some touch-up work with some wood stain and aptly forgot about it. That was until I notice that the wood satin had also gotten on my white duvet cover. I have tried bleach, which has worked some but not enough. Any one else ever have this problem?

I just cleaned my closet with bleach. After the bleach is dry and I put my clothes back in, will it still be able to stain my clothes?
I did not wipe it down with water. It has dried for about 7 hours however. I had the fan on to help it dry too. Should it be safe now?

The laundry is sorted by color. Darks from lights. Reds separated by themselves. Each load is washed with cold water and a high speed tumble. Clothing are air dried. No fabric softener is used. The detergent is Tide 2x ultra with bleach alternative color safe. The clothing is washed at a laundromat. When clothing is flipped inside out the stains have a majority on the inside and small amount on the outside. The stains do not occur every load. The laundry stains have been consistent despite the laundromat or washing machine that is used.
When clothing is washed outside out and inside in (natural orientation) the majority of the stains occur on the outside and a little bit on the inside

Moved into a house, and when I moved a highboy, there was a giant old cat pee stain underneath. Its probably about 2 years old, and Ive tried resolve, vinegar, even a bleach mixture, and cant seem to get it up. Staining the carpet isnt a problem, just the smell. Any advice?

I dropped a hot hookah coal on my carpet and the ash has embedded itself in the carpet and won’t come out. I tried to use bleach and detergent and that hasn’t helped. Anyone have any suggestions?

My stepmom spilled a drop of bleach of my favorite shirt ever while she was doing laundry, and so now there’s a reddish-brownish spot on my purple tee. Is there anything I can do to fix it? It’s a deep purple. It was a Lucky tee shirt that was pricey (, it’s embroidered by hand too) and I can’t just replace it. Tips?

I decided to wash my vans with laundry detergent and a toothbrush. The laundry detergent is clear without bleach and when I let my vans dry over night you van see the difference of where I scrubbed and where I didn’t. It’s like a dirty white. What can I do so I can remove the stain? Do I wash them in the washer? Gentle cycle, no bleach, what else. I also went and got the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser Orginal but I don’t see a difference. Please help!

I added some bleach to some white clothes one time, and now every time i do a regular load of laundry with colors, whatever is not black is getting these blue stains… how do I get rid of this?

in and they had rusted around the drain. The other day, I put some water w/bleach in the sink and I forgot about it. A couple of days later I went in there and the water in the sink was black. Really black. I thought, at first, that the sewer had backed up, but I looked in the commode and everything was fine. Then I remembered I had left the bleach water in there. My question is, would the bleach water have reacted with the rust to cause this and how do you get the stain out. It looks like black ink has stained it. I have used Comet and a stiff brush and gotten some of it out, but it still looks bad.

Help! Today I accidently spilled a little bleach on a brown shirt when I was doing laundry. It’s an expensive shirt and I hate to have to discard it. The area where the bleach spilled has turned into spots of red. Is there some kind if fabric dye that I can put on the spots to get them back to the original brown color?

I didn’t find the black stains on my red sweater until the next day after I had washed AND dried, so the stain is probably really set in there. I washed with cold water so the black wouldn’t bleed, but I didn’t think about the dryer and set it at a high temperature.

I read online that stains that have been set in after drying can be removed with persistence, but I can’t find any solutions that fit my specific case. I don’t want to use bleach because my sweater is red. What should I do?

So i have these all white vans and they get dirty wicked easily and i want all the dirt stains to get washed away but i dont want to have to keep bleaching them because it takes forever.
