My friend’s 20-month-old little brother has been using the floor in their guest room as a pody for a about a week or so now and she just found the stain. My friend said that it is almost dry and the stain is pretty bad, as it appears he went in the same spot every time. We are babysitting him for a couple weeks while their parents are out of town and we need to get this stain out ASAP. PLEASE HELP!!

Go buy some cheap "Mean Green" and some "Oxy Clean" (generic works just as well). Spray the area and blot with an old rags, then spray again and repeat the process. . . If this does not work, you will have to spray with this mixture and then use a shampooing/carpet cleaner. . . Has always worked for me on nastier stuff than that :)

Most grocery stores and home-improvement stores (like Lowes) rent out carpet shampooers by the hour. There is also a product I’ve seen at Lowes especially for removing urine stains. I can’t remember the name.

Carbona carpet cleaner…it comes in a red bottle with a built in carpet brush/scrubber…just spray it on and scrub…this will take out anything…including urine stains. It works every time! Good luck! Oh, I find it at Wal Mart…if that helps.

If you can find a place that rents professional carpet cleaning equipment, they would probably have a product that would help you out. Or call a professional cleaner to come in and do it. Make sure you get a guarantee that if they cannot get the stain out that you don’t pay.

What is the floor. Wood, carpet, tile? If it is carpet go to a pet store and get a good pet stain remover. DO NOT use hot water. That will harden the proteins in the urine an it will never come out. Use only cool water when mixing the product.

    Things You’ll Need:

    Bleach
    Bucket of Water
    Mop
    Scrub Brush

Mask for your face (to avoid inhaling the stench)

    Step1
First you want to analyze the size of the stain to determine how much bleach you will need and how much time it will take you to complete the job.

    Step2
Start by putting on a mask to avoid inhaling the terrible smell of urine and bleach.

    Step3
Pour bleach directly on the stain and scrub vigorusly with a scrub brush.

    Step4
Rinse the area well with a wet mop.

    Step5
Repeat bleach treatment until the urine stain and urine smell are gone.
