Urine stains on a white mattress, how do you get rid of them?

My autistic son still wears diapers at age 8. He has wet the bed a few times through these diapers and I am left with urine stains which gross me out. I decided to buy a mattress cover to keep it clean from now on, but I really want to get rid of the existing stains.

HELP PLEASE….

My son started wetting the bed and before I put him back into diapers at night he messed the bed a few times. I used the "spot shot" carpet cleaner on the mattress. Spray in it down fairly well and then give a little scrub with a towel. If it has any odors to it, I used the purple bottle of Febreeze after the spot shot was almost dry. If you do this in the morning and febreeze about noon or 1, then by bed time the mattress will be clean and dry.
