Dog Urine Stain In Grout Will NOT Come Out?
We have very light colored grout and during house training our dog she had some mistakes, most came right out but we have a 4′x3′ section that is stained dark and just won’t clear up. I have tried everything from Nature’s Miracle which usually does the job minus this one spot. I then tried Comet mixed with water and scrubbed the paste into the stain and let it sit for a while. Stain was still there so I tried liquid bleach, let sit, cleaned out, Stain was still there so I tried Muriatic Acid (dilluted and full strength) neither worked. The muriatic acid looked like it was working, it bubbled up and it looked like it was pulling out the urine due to the yellow color it turned but after 24 hours the grout is dry but still a dark dirty color.
So I am stumped, none of those options I have researched and read about worked. I really want to avoid pulling up and regrouting that area so if any one has any other ideas or tips to get this stain out of our grout it would be much appreciated.

You will probably need to re-grout. All the things you did are what I would have suggested. But, don’t pull the tiles. Instead get one of those thin saws (go to Lowes or Home Depot and have them show you the hand tools that will do this) and grind/saw out the grout. Clean it good, clean again with the acid, and regrout. Then, seal good.
try the oxyclean or oxy powder.. make a paste of the powder and let it sit and see if that will remove the stain.
I use "Vim gel with baking soda" you put the gel onto the grout, take a damp scrub brush or old toothbrush and scrub it in. wipe clean with a wet cloth. Presto! Clean grout!
Try using the sonic scrubber. It is $20 at the Target. It basically works like an electronic toothbrush with really stiff bristles. It has like 5 different heads to use as well. It really works well on grout. Use it in conjunction with Krud Kutter (you can buy it at the hardware store like lowes or home depot) The stains should come out. It worked on my grout and it saves you the scrubbing!
