How do I get pet urine stains out of chair padding?
I just got this new chair and my friends let their dog in my room while I was away and he hiked his leg up and peed all over the padding. It’s way too big to go in the washer and the stain has already set. How do I get the smell and stain out?

I have recently been getting a product called pets & kids at Wal-mart its in a yellow and white bottle, It works wonderfully and it has a ton of uses. It has taken out every stain I have put it on. It’s wonderful. Check out the link http://www.kidsnpetsbrand.com/
You could try spraying it with diluted hydrogen peroxide, then just letting it dry. If the stain’s fairly recent, it might work.
Another option, unfortunately, would be to have the chair reupholstered.
Pour straight vinegar on it. It will remove the pet stain odor and help to remove it. Just pour it on, let it sit for a bit and then take a towel to lift out as much of the vinegar as you can. Vinegar neutralizes pet odors unlike anything else.
you can get a basic cat pee remover spray at your local store or if you want a more environmentally friendly option I use Luna Rinse- it also doesn’t have as strong a smell as the cat pee stuff and has worked really well for my daughter during potty training accidents
Have your friend pay for steam cleaning the chair…. Or buying you a new one… You can also try RESOLVE spray foam vacuum away upholstry cleaner.. Send the friend the bill….
Good luck
