water stain on night stand?

I have a water stain on a night stand in my bedroom from a humidifier. It is approx. 8 inches by 4 inches. It has left a white mark. Can I repair this myself or should I have a pro do it?

    You can try rubbing it with mayonaise. If that doesn’t work, you may need to sand and refinish the top. The wetness may have pulled moisture from the wood or gotten into the product the table was sealed with. A white hazy mark is usually a sign of moisture in the coating.

    Try mayonnaise – leave it on over night & then rub. You can also try peanut butter in the same way.

    rub the stain with alcohol the blow on it with a hairdryer,stain should disappear
