I have a (now pottie trained) pup. When he would have his "accidents", I would use 1 gallon of warm water, 1 cup of white vinegar, and a splash of liquid detergent. Rub it on the stain and blot it dry. That worked very well for me. It got rid of the odor too! Good luck!

Use dawn soap and hydrogen peroxide. I know…sounds weird, but it’s magical! :) Seriously, try it. It got the red wine out of my white carpet!

I discovered Nature’s Miracle when my very sick Siberian (RIP Boo) had cancer. You can find it at pet stores and discounters. It really worked on vomit, urine, blood, and excrement both to remove the stain and the smell. You can even load it into a carpet cleaner for larger jobs, treat bedding and upholstery. It has enzymes in it that digest the odor causing bacteria so it removes the smells as well. The only trick is that when you treat carpet, you have to saturate the spot enough to reach down into the padding or the smell and stain will "walk up" to the surface.
