Do you mean the touchpad? It may not be grease, the surface of the pad may be worn from use.

If you’re sure the stuff is grease, try a bit of Goo Gone on it.

Do you have any pictures of the damage? I would wonder if some kind of household grease-removing product would do the trick. You’d want to be very careful, of course, and test on a discrete area first. The other option people seem to do is put some kind of sticker or covering over the palmrest area. Either that or get a nice black abs plastic laptop like a Thinkpad

you can use a damp (not wet) rag with dish soap and water.

There is none, sorry to say. Grease stains cannot be removed. However the discoloration on Macs can be removed from Mr Clean’s Magic Eraser

Use a little detergent and water – detergent breaks down the oil and removes it relatively easily. I do this all the time, though I tend to remove the keys first – they are ‘tricky’ to put back on, but if you are gentle, then no problems at all.

This is the best way I’ve found. Just damp the cloth and wring it out so you don’t leak water in to the computer though.

I use make-up remover wipes to clean my touch pad! I often try to multi-task between fake-tanning/applying make up and using my laptop which makes it really grubby and these work like a dream!

Jus use clean cloth and A BIT of alcohol since cloth only will not be able to remove stain

take out the keys and rub ‘em hard with good old soap and water!

Dont use soap. On my laptop, Ive used the monitor wipes that come prepackaged that I use on the monitor. They seem to work at getting it off to the point that its not noticable. I can still see it, but thats probably just because I know its there. No one else seems to notice.

I have a suggestion that has worked for me. I use a pinch of baking soda, white toothpaste, and a toothbrush. Gently scrub the pad trying not to get it to saturated. Then rinse the brush and scrub some more. You should see a difference almost immediately. It may take the rinse repeat step that we are all familiar with. Pat dry with a lint free cloth if you have one. If not pat dry with papertowels.
