    Wrong wrong wrong, sorry sisters!
I worked in a grocery store a LONG time ago with an ink-based price marker. When we needed to change the price on, say, the creamed corn or canned greenbeans, I used a roll-on price remover. It smelled strongly like ammonia. Took the price right off, customer was none the wiser :-(
Got the ink on hands a lot, used the ammonia smelling product to get it off.
Since then I use ammonia and water, sometimes straight ammonia, right on the ink stain, and it *usually* comes out. Keep at it, scrub ammonia/water blend in with little brush, rinse, repeat. Whatever you do, DON’T put it into dryer or iron before the stain is gone… stain will be set forever!
So you can ammonia/scrub/let it sit… wash as usual, hang to dry. check it out. more ammonia if necessary, then scrub again, rinse, wash.
I really wish you good luck!

It depends on what type of ink they use. Call the paper and ask them what to do.

You could use Shout stain remover on the stain. Spray it on the stain and rub it in. Let it set for a while then wash in cold water/ cold water rinse so you do not set the stain. Let air dry to make sure the stain is gone. If not repeat. If you dry in the dryer the dryer will set the stain and you will never be able to get it out. We really need to know what color is the shirt and what kind of fabric the shirt is made of. This way you will not ruin your shirt trying to get the stain out. And we would be able to answer your question more thoroughly. The answer that I have given you will not ruin your shirt but some of the other answers may.

newspaper ink is like indelible ink…get a can of aerosol hair spray and soak the stain a couple of times, then wash in hot water

a spray and wash type product should work fine, if it doesnt come out dont dry it just spray and wash again.(delivered papers for over five years!) price markers used a diff type of ink, and newspapers have to use a certain type of ink now,not like the ink from a long time ago! it has to come out when they recycle it. (with less chemicals in it) taking it off your fingers is different than getting it out of your clothes.
