Enzyme but you have to let it soak in cause the urine has already soaked in. I use a Hoover steam vac deep cleaner and I will do a pass with hydrogen peroxide, a pass with hot water, then I would pivot out the plastic vacuum line as if I was attaching the upholstery attachments, this disconnects the vacuum and I can then just spray out the enzyme solution without sucking it up (I use double the recommended strength of enzyme), I let it soak in for about 20 to 30 minutes, pivot the plastic piece back into place and suck up the enzyme. When it’s completely dry, I’ll sprinkle some of that pet odor carpet freshener baking soda stuff, leave it for an hour or so before vacuuming. I then set out some scat units to keep the pets away from the area so they don’t develop a habit of urinating there.

I find that the Hoovers work better then the Bissell’s.
