The REAL best way? go to your local janitorial supply company, tell them what the stain is and let them pick for you!

If you don’t wanna do the legwork… call a carpet cleaner. That should cost you a minimum charge, between $80 and $125

Depends what the stain is.But in my experience as a cleaning business owner,Murphy’s oil soap is a great stain remover for carpets.Use it sparingly, and brush with a soft bristled brush.

I use oxyclean, you mix it into hot water one to two scoops rub with scrub brush and blot with towel. I have used it on cool aid milk, soda, coffee, all kinds of things, even stains that have been there for a while. High traffic stains also.Good luck.

There is a couple of products that take red stains out without damaging the carpet or changing whatever color it is. Wineaway can be found at Cost Plus and many kitchen stores and it works well. Mostenbockers red stain remover works on wine, blood, cool-aid, ketchup and marker. It is found in the laundry aisle in most discount and drug stores.
