What is the best laundry detergent for getting stains out?

best stain removercleaning suppliesjanitorial suppliesremoving stains

I have recently had to adjust my budget so i changed laundry detergents. I started out w/ Gain but it just didn;t seem to be doing the trick..so i switched to Purex, that didn;t work either. so i have been using Sun & adding Biz stain fighter to it. But that seems to not be cleaning as well. I have researched alot & everyone says Tide but i just can’t afford that. Please help before this drives me crazy……..

If you check the ingredients of all those, you will find they are all more or less the same. Pay attention to the order of ingredient listing, as highest ratio is listed first. You can experiment by adding more of the cheaper stuff and seeing how it works.

Also, now that it’s getting colder, your wash temp may need to be adjusted. Super cold water doesn’t do as good a job of loosening stains and dissolving soap.

Here is my reasoning for using Tide…for my family of 5, it costs me $13 to buy a box of Tide with bleach. I do approxiamately 7 loads of laundry per week and a box lasts me close to 2 months.

The math is $13 (per box) divided by 8 weeks= $1.63 per week
    $1.63 divided by 7 (loads per week)= $ .23 per load

To me, clothes are worth $.23 per load to get them their cleanest. And, no doubt, Tide with bleach works best.
