I’ve tried them all and took Linda Cobb’s advice from her book Talking Dirty with the Queen of Clean and now use Biz Activated Non-Chlorine Bleach. It can removed almost any stain, even those that went through previous laundering and the dryer. It doesn’t leave white mystery stains on garments like oxy clean formulations. You can add some to every laundry load or use it in a soaker load. It comes in an easy to use liquid or a powder and it is way cheaper than most of the other non-chlorine bleaches I’ve used.

Use 1/4 cup of lemon juice and 1/4 cup of white vinegar mixed with 1 gallon of warm water soak clothes for 15 min prior to washing. For the formula, put the lemon juice directly on it and let it sit in the sun for about 15 min. For the grease you will need to try something different. WD-40 works great for grease crayons lipstick salad dressing. it will all just come right out~~~

The best thing I use is dishwasher detergent. Use it instead of bleach. It contains phosphates and works wonders on protein stains.

I swear by oxy clean. I use it in combination with era and it works wonders on all kinds of stains.
