What is the best product to use to remove urine and smell out of a seat in my car?

I know there are products to remove urine stains and smells out of carpet and flooring, but is there anything thats specific for cars. I just want to make sure it won’t discolor the seat. Also, I don’t know how deeply the urine absorbed into the seat. So I’m looking for a product that will be able to remove all of the smell.

    Try vinegar. It can break down bodily fluids. I work in a group home for the developementally disabled, and have come across this quite often. We use vinegar, as for one its cheap, and it does a good job.

    i think its the new towel thing oxy clean has if it works on carpet it should work on a car seat

    Wash as best you can with cleaner and water, dry with a wet vac if you can. When dry, spread a bunch of baking soda on area and cover with a towel. Leave on as long as it takes, may have to refresh the baking soda.

    there is this stain and odor remover for pets and it works really good. i have used it alot and it doesnt discolor or anything. if you dont kbnow how deep down the satin is leave it on there for a fre minutes

    well i’ve had my dog pee in my moms car before and we used some sort of car powder,and if that doesn’t work go to the car shop anywhere and you’ll find something.sorry for the accident…good luck!

    You can get a liquid at the vets to remove dog urine from carpets and chairs that should work on your car. It worked good on my chair at home.

    Nature’s Miracle. It is sold at pet stores and enzymatically breaks down urine/feces/vomit. Soak the area thoroughly and let it dry by itself. Sounds like you may need a lot and it will take several days to dry, but the odor will be gone.

    The best way is to remove the seat, and steam clean it. Or, if you have a wet vac, you can shampoo the seat with upholstery cleaner/shampoo. The reason I suggested removing the seat, it is easier to clean it, and dry it than while it is still in the car. Some back seats come out rather easily, some don’t. Your choice. Use plenty of water, and immediately suck it up with the wet vac. Keep flushing hot water over the area, and suck it right up. After a while it should be good to go.

    Hands down: "Four Paws Wee-Wee" Had a friend whose male cat sprayed–found this product at a pet store. I’ve never used anything that performs this well. All products advise to test in inconspicuous place. Assume the urine saturated the padding in the seat, use the wee=wee as directed, and you should be smell-free. You may have to apply more than once since car seat padding is thicker than carpet and padding, but this is the best product on the market–period. Product is made in Hauppauge, NY 11788

    Go to the pet store and get a product that cleans pet urine, it breaks down the enzymes. Anyway test it in and inconspicuous area and if it doesn’t discolor (which ti shouldnt) then clean with that. Once it is dried reall good sprinkle some baking soda on and allow to sit for about 30 minutes and vacuum. This works for human urine also!
