What is the best product/way to remove stubborn stains like grape juice and chocolate??

Which product do you recommend to remove dried grape juice and chocolate stains from childrens’ clothing. Does it need to be soaked? I can’t seem to remove these darned stains and have tried everything.

    Try soaking it in 3 Percent Hydrogen Peroxide also you could try Club Soda and Tea Tree Oil this works better than bleach

    Spray and wash with resolve. Or bar deodorant soap and a toothbrush. It sounds crazy but works even on motor oil stains of my husbands.

    Try dishwasher detergent and toothbrush with a little water. Be careful using on colored fabrics though as the detergent has dried bleach in it. A little goes a long way.

    Vinegar will remove a lot of colored stuff like cool-aid, grape juice, & marker. Yes I do soak them in vinegar and water, about a 1/2 cup of vinegar to your sink full of water. Sometimes if its really stubborn, blot the stain with a vinegar soaked paper towel. Be a little careful with this though, vinegar has a very slight bleaching property, nothing like chlorine bleach though. Just be sure to rinse thoroughly and wash immediately. For soaking it won’t dull your colors.

    For all clothing stains, first wet from the inside of the garment, that way you aren’t pushing the staining material through the fiber, with any luck its still just right on top of the fibers and hasn’t penetrated through. When we wet it from the top or outside, we just push the stuff right into the rest of the fibers. Works like magic!

    Put some ERA laundry liquid on the spots, rub lightly, then let it set for a while. Rinse under the faucet to see if the spots are gone. If not, add more ERA & let it set. ERA gets through stains that contain enymes.

    on my stains, my mom always puts dawn dish soap on it, rubs it in, and throws it in the washer & dryer it works every time.

    but that’s only when she runs out of spray n’ wash :)

    she says they both work about the same though.

    I came across a wonderful stain remover called Spot Shot. My puppy got ahold of a blue ink pen…need I say more? Took a chance, used it and it worked like a miracle. It’s the only thing I use for spot cleaning now. If it can get blue ink out of beige carpet, I’m sure it’ll work for you. I’ve used it on old blood stains, hair dye stains on rugs, oil spots, and it came right up. Just aim, spray, let it sit for a few seconds and rub area with old damp cloth or damp brush.
