Oxydizing agents like Chlorine or Peroxide don’t remove blood stains. They just hide them by bleaching the stains until they are invisible.

    * Fresh Blood stain removal -

    1. Flush as much of the blood away in cold water.
    2. Wash with any laundry powder in cold water (Temps >35 C or 95 F set blood stains).
    3. Then rinse with cold water.

    * Set blood stains (rust like contain iron)-
For congealed blood Phosphoric or Oxalic acid containing rust removers can be used to dissolve stains. Then rinse twice with warm water.

    Good Luck!!

hydrogen peroxide Just spray on blood and watch it bubble and eat the blood away. If it’s a small stain let the spot soak in a bowl of hydrogen peroxide till stain is gone.

I’ve found that Spray & Wash "Dual Power" works beautifully. We don’t have Biz in Canada but I have good results with Oxyclean – if item(s) are soaked in it overnight.

Soak in regular peroxide you use on small cuts works for me .If blood is not dry usually there is no problem . You may have to repeat rinse & do again
